Ashish is a Mechanical Engineer from NIT Surat and an MBA from IIFT Delhi with over 20 years of experience in Strategic planning & Technology with various organizations including Reliance Industries where he served as Vice President of Strategic Planning for six different businesses including the Energy & Technology businesses.
He has also been principal designer for the following large Government projects :
Govt. of India has invested over INR 40,000 crores in initiatives directly conceived by him.
Dr. Kharkar has a diversified and rich industrial R&D leadership experience across a wide range of chemical and biotech industry sectors at organizations such as Reliance Industries Ltd, Dow Chemicals, ICI, Ciba, Dr. Reddy’s, etc., as a career R&D professional.
Dr. Kharkar headed the Technology Lab at Reliance Industries for a period of 6 years where he guided hundreds of researchers and scientists working on various high technology projects.
